sunshine on a rainy day

Well, what a rotten day it had been. Rained for the majority of the day.

L had a party in the village (All Cannings) but getting there was a little tricky due to the country lanes being flooded in places. I blipped this sunset at the top of Monument Hill on the way to the party.

I didn't get a pic of the floods as I was concentrating on not getting stuck in it!

Hubby came with me for the pick up as he didn't believe how flooded the road was...

... now he does!
