Peri - peri chicken
A very popular dish borrowed from our Mozambican neighbours.
It was very popular in Portuguese colonial days and is very spicy being marinaded in a mixture of garlic, olive oil, chili, peri peri (small very hot chilies), paprika, salt, and .lemon juice.
Nando's make amazing peri- peri at their world wide franchise stores. Worth a tryt.
