Pomegranate

Great day today; coffee with friends, checking out the ongoing local floods, baked camembert for lunch, spot of shopping (or refunding) in town, and more coffee with friends. Took a few shots at the station as possible blips but decided to go for shots with the macro of a pomegranate.
I normally cheat and buy the pre peeled ones but couldn't get that today. I cut it in half and then started to curve it back and pomegranate seeds flew everywhere; I had juice dripping down my arms and splattered over the tiles. I wanted the shot to show the glossy juiciness of the fruit and I also like the contrast with the hairy bits in the stalk too.
