Off on our travels

A very early rise this morning, 3.30am to be precise. We were booked on the ferry to the Isle of Tiree. Thankfully all went well and it was a smooth crossing. We arrived just before midday and unpacked the enormous amount of food and drink that we had brought with us. We are staying in a property in the settlement of Hynish, right on the seafront. This year there are 23 of us.

After unpacking and lunch some of us went for a walk, clambering over rocks etc. round about Hynish. It was a pretty good afternoon weather wise, a bit windy but that's usual for Tiree. This is a beach not too far away from our house, lively sunset tonight.

Quiz night tonight and I'm delighted to say that my team won......second year in a row!
