Just another grey day

Rain had fallen all night and continued all morning. We kept a constant watch on the YTFC website for news of the FA cup third round match due to be played at 3 pm. At 12 the club confirmed match on. The rural roads around us are very tricky so I was not overly pleased but I know how important it is for clubs not to get behind with their fixtures and I had no chance suggesting to LG we didn't go! We left really early 1.15 and luckily the main A303 was clear but two of the roads we normally take were closed due to flooding, Queen Camel from yesterday's blip, being one of them. We eventually saw Yeovil Town cruise into the fourth round of the FA Cup with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over League One Leyton Orient ensuring us a safe passage into last 32 for the first time since 2005. During the match the sun did it's best to shine so the return journey was by no means as treacherous. Tis now freezing !!!!! So tomorrow twill be ice not water providing the challenge. Duvet day???
