New Year, New Growth

I first noticed these red berries a few days ago but I suspect they are more a remnant of autumn than a harbinger of spring.

Although the coastal towns of Largs, Ardrossan, Greenock etc were battered by wind, rain and waves we were not badly hit in Paisley.
