Stena Sirita

Mrs F and I had a trip up the coast today to see how the weather was behaving. Lots of minor damage around but nothing as wild as we have seen on the TV. There was however a lovely glow in the sky as the clouds broke.

Managed to catch this shot of the tanker, Stena Sirita, lying at anchor off the coast of Ardrossan. She is on route to the Finnart oil terminal on Loch Long. The terminal has been connected to the Grangemouth Oil Refinery by a 58 mile long pipeline since 1954.
