Went swimming, pool was VERY quiet and i regretted not going more over the holidays.

Came home to find the engineer who had been cancelled on Thursday and fetched up anyway. luckily no-one got up to let him in.

Update on #3 son. A message came from the uni last night asking students not to return to Aberystwyth this week-end. Exams have been postponed a week and students have been evacuated from the uni accommodation on the front. Probably a good idea not to have 10,000 students returning at a time of emergency. Luckily #3 son lives up a hill, but he's a bit worried Morrison's may have flooded and the town will starve.

Elsewhere at #14, I undercoated, 2 coats, the banister supports and did a bit of varnishing too. Bit tricky when the motion activated lights kept going out. Anyway it will be finished tomorrow. I think I'll paint the inside of the front door too, but later.

I took of few photos of the tree before it goes tomorrow in the hope I can have something for the 2014 Christmas card. Here is the hellebore my sister gave me for my birthday, in poster mode.
