3rd time lucky

we set off for the gym this morning amidst pouring rain. Didn't go in the end as I felt quite nauseous. Took my new slippers back to M&S as they fell apart after 4 days wear. went to BHS and bought another pair. These went back this afternoon as when I went to put them on they too were falling apart which I hadn't noticed in the store. so, here are the 3rd pair.

a trip to Sue Rider in Egham for light sockets for the dolls hose but ended up in hersham as they were the only store with the last one. Mr G is busy soldering the wires together to make them longer and putting the plugs on which we got from Ebay. the house is minus the external doors which are under renovation.

On the plus side managed to get into the garden during a dry spell and righted the fruit cage and put out the cloches ready to warm the soil for planting. I was pleasantly surprised that the veg garden was not very wet unlike the grass under the Mulberry tree which is very squelchy.

The naughty Jasper must be feeling better as he chased round the garden like a mad thing all the time i was out there, and tried to escape by going behind the summer house. He was very sick last night after his light meal of chicken and rice. kept breakfast down but not asking for food tonight, YET.
