Jemima

Every year it is a sure bet that after the Christmas decorations boxes have gone up into the loft I discover something that has been forgotten. However Jemima's necklace is going to stay because I think it suits her while she sits on our hearth.
I had a dilemma this year. There were a lot of decorations that didn't get used. Do I put them back in the boxes so that they don't get used again next year? Or should I put some aside for the charity shop? If I take them to the charity shop now, what will they do with them between now and next Christmas? Alternatively I could put them aside and take them to the shop in November. But would I remember? Probably not!
