Biking Blur
Alexander and I headed to the recently opened Glenlivet mountain bike trail centre for new year's day ride, on the testing 22km Red, having ridden the 9km flowing Blue on opening day. It was quite tough, from a fitness rather than technical perspective, with an arduous long haul to the highest point just below the top of Carn Daimh (at 550m). Of course that was soon forgotten in the adrenaline rush of speeding down, tackling a few fairly easy TTFs en route. This is Alexander going at speed over a step in Gully Leap. We were last back to the car park, as it was getting very dark and the cafe lights were being switched off, luckily just a few minutes before the heavy rain arrived.
