SUNSHINE FEELS SO GOOD

For ‘Squirrel Blip Friday’, here’s the little red squirrel again. His body isn’t more than five or six inches long – he seems to be more chipmunk than squirrel. He sure is quick – he’d race down the tree, grab some spilled sunflower bird seeds and race back up to this same limb over and over again. He’d nibble on the seeds for just seconds, then race back down again - you can see the crumbs on his whiskers! This was taken early in the morning – the few minutes of sunshine was nice, but wasn’t able to warm up the day. I hope this red squirrel has a cozy, protected nest somewhere out of the wind – this arctic air blast is lasting way too long – with even lower temps predicted for all of next week too.
