Being cultural

Went to the Barbican this evening to see the RSC's production of Richard II. Never been to the Barbican before, I was very impressed with the theatre design, I think it is on a par with the National Theatre. Both of these are modern buildings where the designers have thought about the audiences viewing experience. Much better than the Victorian West End theatres.

The Blip is the fire curtain. It is a big reflective heavy duty metal sheet that slides up during the interval. I have tried to capture all the reflections it was bouncing off. It was very spectacular to look at.
