Crane Storm

Thunderstorms, tidal floods, waves crashing over sea walls, winds gusting force 11, but also some bright sunny moments ... all of these elements went into building the structure of today's weather.
Working in these conditions can be a bit challenging at the best of times, but having to catch up with the backlog of work left over from the New Year break, meant that time was precious today ...
Luckily, however, during one of the more active thunderstorms, I was able to pull the van over to the side of the road and capture this silhouette of two "elderly" cranes, standing tall and proud against bleak backdrop ... (and making a good target for lightning bolts I would presume, although not during this particular storm) ... :o)
