Drop and give me ten...

...pages! He was whinging *shock* about having to find something to do that wasn't on his new Hudl tablet thing, when I suggested reading a chapter of the book he bought in a charity shop yesterday. Once he'd processed the idea (and I told him he could have a cracker afterwards!) he dropped to the floor, right in the middle of the hall, in between the kitchen, living room, stairs and loo. Most inconvenient place possible, but I couldn't bring myself to break his concentration- plus he had the radiator behind him, which must have been especially toasty on a blustery day like today!

In other news.. bit of a nightmare no.2 son day. Lay flat and screaming* in quality save this morning at the exact moment I was paying (gallingly, for things for his birthday party) and no.1 son whispered to me on the way out, "why were all those people staring at us Mummy?" Therapy came in the form of lots of deep breaths and a 30 minute round trip car ride to the drive thru Starbucks at the Trafford centre so I didn't have to talk to him for half an hour - plus I got a coffee ;-)

*him, not me!
