The Bridge Restaurant

The first bridge restaurant ever was built in 1957 in Oklahoma and it's also the largest McDonalds in the world.

I remember the first time I saw the Mövenpick bridge restaurant in Switzerland in the early seventies and my brother and I kept on nagging our parents to stop there on the way back so we could stare at the passing cars under us.

This Dutch landmark reflecting the low end of day sunlight in its windows is built in 1980 as 'Ricks Bridge Restaurant', but is occupied by many restaurants as KFC, Burger King, La Place, an oriental wok restaurant and a truckers bar today.

Strange enough it's still a place that has the same attraction as when I was the nagging kid ;-)
