Waxing Cresent

The rough weather continues today but the crescent moon did appear in bursts shortly after sunset. Particularly good was the earthshine which I was hoping to capture but I had very little time to set up, get a shot before the shower which quickly enveloped the moon again. Today marks the official end to 3 months off work with just the weekend to go before the horror begins once again on Monday. Also there was a big thunderstorm with fork lighting streaking across the sky whilst I was in town today. That must be a first for January.....
