Avebury Stone Circle

We decided to get out after Christmas and get some fresh air. We drove to Avebury. I'd been a few times before but only as a stop on the way to somewhere else. This was the first time I'd walked all the way round the outer ring. The scale was striking, as was the beautiful Winter light casting shadows on the ground.
