Grasmere

the level of the Lake is falling again but still lapping over this landing stage at the lovely tea room shed called Faeryland on the shore of the lake.

We walked over to Grasmere from Elterwater and nearly got blown of the ridge between the two but it didn't rain all day and the odd patch of blue sky always promised something more than was actually delivered. Lunch in Grasmere then a lovely walk back through Boltdeer Wood, where we saw a Roe Deer. past Red Bank and through Low Wood.
