Eventing Light

At last we were able to get out in the fresh air, and enjoy a walk in the Peak District. A new walk for us in the new year, This walk took us along part of Ladybower and Derwent reservoirs before climbing up to Derwent Edge and the moors. At the dam between the two reservoirs we spotted a peregrine which was a pleasure to see.

To say that it was soft underfoot was an understatement but about half way up to Derwent edge it thankfully started to dry out a little, we were rewarded at the top with 360 degree views and enjoyed a stunning walk across the edge looking into Derbyshire and across the moors towards Sheffield all day.
