Whelping

Well, 2013 out the way – probably the worst year this century, so glad to see the back of it. Now into 2014 and looking forward to a very different year. So, one resolution is to re-engage with Blipfoto and aim to post as often as possible and not worry too much if I don’t manage a daily post.

This is Tilly, our English Springer at 01.30 a.m. She is hopefully going to whelp today. This will be her first litter and as you can imagine we are very excited as well as a tad nervous. We've had phone calls from Grandchildren wanting to know when the pups will arrive - they can't understand why Gramps can't say! It’s now 5 p.m. and after talking with the Vet we expect action tonight. Might just have a nap in case it’s another late one!
