MERHABA MY FRIENDS

This is Tunsall Court, former college of learning,
left to decompose by local councilors and landowners,
a Victorian building once lavished with Victorian interior
fitting of the era, elegance beyond compare...once upon a time.
Now left to the vandals, stripped of anything of value inside, the
outside looks like a boom has hit it. A local FB group are trying to
save the building.....It looks like it`s too late to save.

Hartlepool, like other towns in the sixties/seventies was ripped
apart by `PROGRESS` . Concrete sprung up everywhere, ugly
buildings, inside and out, a demolition of communities followed
as an `OUT with the OLD` `Bring in the NEW` policy was adopted.

A great many Healthy `OLD` Buildings destroyed to make way for
the NOW `OLD` Concrete faceless buildings. And those wonderful
Architectural Buildings that are left, the council STILL are trying
to knock them down.....The general feeling is that councilors have
no compassion or vision beyond there own greed nor take any notice
of the people of the town.

The demolition of OLD heritage is beyond belief, had they been upgraded
and left to stand, this town would have been the envy of the country
as regards tourism and a place of beauty . This town could have been RICH
AND HEALTH, instead, like many others in the country, a wasted opportunity, all in the name of (unneeded) PROGRESS.
