This is NOT a river!

This is the Covan Burn - normally a small narrow stream, with deep banks, leading into the River Avon. Over the last few days it rose about 2 metres and covered the nearby gardens and walkways, leaving them thick with mud . Here the water has now retreated but is still at a level much higher than normal.
There have been no flood warnings in place locally, but the rain has been non stop.
