On The Mend

Cheryl was working yesterday so went down and picked her up at 2 o'clock then the taxi came for us at 3pm and we went down to visit Cheryl's mum and dad to wish them a happy New Year.

We had a good time sitting blethering with a few drinks and some nice food. It was good to see Peter looking so well after his knee operation and he says he is getting more movement in it with every passing day. The nurse is coming to the house tomorrow to take out his stitches. Took quite a few pictures but I liked this one of Peter lying back on his reclining chair enjoying being pampered.

The taxi came for us at 11 pm and I watched a bit of the cricket when I got in. We had taken 2 wickets before I went to bed so lets hope we can stop the white wash.
