Sidmouth after the storm

A funny day with weather from bright sunshine to almost darkness. Rain, no rain, wind.

We walked along the seafront at Sidmouth. Half the beach had got on to the Promenade but when we walked along it was much calmer than I guess it had been last night.

Hot doughnuts for the boys, one for Dad and none for Mum (her choice). Straight out of the Donomat machine and freshly coated in sugar. Well, if I'm going to be off the drink a little doughnut treat can't do any harm, can it?

Finally home this afternoon, haircut and beard chat with the barber and thoughts of work infiltrating my holiday head.

Long run in the morning will sort all this out. It solves most problems.
