Southend pier

We went into Southend to do some shopping and have a coffee. Instead of going to one of our normal venues we decided to try the Park Inn at the top of Pier Hill. Disappointed but the views were good and I took this through the window whilst we were having coffee,liked the way the sun was lighting up the sea. You can just see the new life boat station at the shore end of the pier. Taken in mono. Best large The weather was cold windy, some sun and some heavy showers, fortunately not while we were out!
