Light of Dawn

I don't often consider the view from our front door. This is likely due to the American idea of attached car garages. I go in and out of the house through the garage door without really seeing my surroundings. Occasionally, a parcel from FedEx or UPS waits outside overnight before being brought inside.

As the New Year dawns, I intend to awaken early and begin the day with some extra quiet time. I was rewarded this morning with a view. I love how the jet trail streaks through the trees, and imagine where the passengers are headed on the first business day of the New Year.
