Dark Cloud Rising

Im lucky to have a large glass box on the rear of my property with reasonably uninterrupted views. Its a wonderful place to sit morning, noon and night and watch nature take its course.

This morning, as my 2 year old daughter is an early riser we watched the sun rise as we often do while having breakfast. For once this week the sky was clear, within a few hours a dark cloud began to loom over the house, making quite a dramatic effect, which , as an amateur I tried to capture.

But.. within the space of another hour, the sun returned and the sky was clear, only to be repeated again, with more heavy rain, thunder and lightening.

I do hope the sun, which is out now, stays!
