Yellow Brain Fungus

Continuing on from purple jelly disk (Wednesday) and witches' butter (Thursday) today we have my favourite, the yellow brain fungus (Tremella mesenterica). Typically found on gorse but also on dead wood, particularly Ash. The Ash dieback disease might mean that this fungus becomes more common.
