Beach view

I seem to have been hit with a big dose of post Christmas lethargy over the last couple of days and spent most of the day on the couch (that is after trying for two hours to get the internet working - some sort of glitch caused by who knows what!)
I put the air-con on at 10am this morning as I could tell it was going to be a stinker, and it was.
I suggested we get takeaway and head into the beach this evening for dinner by the ocean and were lucky to get a picnic table overlooking the beach. Calamari, prawn cutlets and chips with a bottle of Oyster Bay Sav Blanc to wash it down and I'm feeling a lot better thank goodness. After the heat of the day it was almost cold in by the water - quite hard to take in the difference a few hours can make.
A short walk along the beach before coming home hopefully got rid of a few of the calories (wishful thinking).
