Bringing in the new year

In super Texan fashion!

For our entertainment tonight we went to our local honky tonk, JT Floores. Elvis played here so it must be frickn' awesome . They also claim this is the spiritual home of Willie Nelson.

We had a great time dancing, drinking Lone Star, munching, getting the fire roaring, chatting to the locals and singing Auld Lang Syne (by ourselves on the dance floor).

And we found out that to buy more than two alcoholic drinks in Texas you need a special license to be able to carry them away from the bar.

A fine way to bring in the new year!
