Lovely weather for ducks

First day back today and lo and behold, I have tomorrow off. (Stinky bit is that I'm working Saturday and Sunday.)

It turns out that 2013 was one the driest on record but it tried to make up for it today. All day, those big, fat, wet, drops that bounce a foot in the air.
Still, it's only 5 months till they announce water shortages. In a rain forest. Go figure.

"Ah" they say, "it doesn't rain where our reservoirs are."

Duh! Silly me, I should have known that.

Ah well. Until tomorrow....
