A typical Dutch building
Last Sunday I went to see the heksenwaag (= a weigthing scale for people that are said to be a witch) in Oudewater, The Netherlands. This waag was being used from the 1400's till the 1800's. If people who were being weight were to skinny it meant that they were a witch. In total almost 500.000 people were killed, because people thought they might be a witch... I took a picture of this typical Dutch building, do you see the sky.. it looks spooky huh? Maybe it has something to do with the heksenwaag!
