Grandma Cottrell's Birthday

Certain birds remind me of certain people. The bright red male cardinals remind me of my mom because she has always liked them and the color red. Sometimes a bird reminds me of a certain person, because of the way it looks. The doves all ruffled and puffed up against the cold, look like someone I know. And the female cardinal with that dark bright eye makes me think of my Grandma Cottrell and the twinkle in hers. Today would have been her birthday---don't remember which one---but I picked this picture of the female cardinal and the warbler because it looks up-beat and neighborly and fitting for a happy birthday remembrance.....
