First Night Festivities II

Wonderful views of the Boston First Night fireworks from our hotel room. It took a bit of guess work figuring out where on the skyline we'd see the display, advance setting up of camera and tripod paid off, especially since I'd had a few by the time midnight came.
Later in the day we took a bracing stroll down to the Commons and along a well-heeled Beacon Hill avenue to gawp at the old townhouses.
