Double Arches

A mid-evening stop at Cambridge Services on the A14, on the penultimate leg of our winter journey.

The Extra Motorway Services logo (seen at the top of this sign) first caught my attention as we were driving up the A14 nearly a dozen years ago, on our move from Greenwich to our current home in NE Scotland. I thought at the time, it must be a brazen attempt to rip off the McDonalds logo. But as you can see here, the similarity between the two designs doesn't seem to have stopped McDonalds placing one of their outlets here.
