A rare sight

Housework is not one of my talents nor do I get any pleasure from it. There are many more exciting things to do. However on 31st Dec I decided I was going to do all the ironing so that we would see in the new year with an empty ironing basket. I am not allowing the washing machine to go on for a few days so that it can't be filled up again while I'm not looking.
