It's Bauble Over

Pottering around in the work office this morning followed by more pottering at home in the afternoon I decided it was time to start taking down and clearing away (not all) some of the festive lights and decorations around the house.

Sweeping the floor and in amongst the small bits of chocolate(that somehow the kids didn't eat), crisp crumbs, parts of Lego, shreds of wrapping paper and steak pie crust was this broken Christmas Bauble - the final piece of evidence that I needed to confirm to me that the festivities are now over and it's time to buckle up and get ready for the new year ahead.
