Glücksklee...

This is our four leaf clover - to bring luck for the new year. Three leaved versions grow all over the forest floor and are beautiful, but these special four leaved ones are given as gifts every New Year. I hope it works...!

Once I found a four leaf clover and pressed it, so I could take in to show everyone at school. On the day I wanted to take it in, I took it out of the book I was pressing it in and one of the four leaves fell off. I took it in anyway and the teacher said I was cheating and it didn't really have four leaves, I'd just 'added' one - she was mean about it and I'll always remember the injustice! I'm sure it still brought me luck somewhere along the way though - because it WAS a real four leaf clover! :-))
