Happy New Year!

Well it's been a wet day and after finishing work I decided to try and get some blip inspiration and take a snap of the weir at Pultney Bridge in Bath, it was visible today, a different story to Christmas Eve when there was no weir or footpath next to the weir just a torrent of water.

But as I walked back to the car I spotted this care or heron, I'm not sure which sat amongst the chimneys on North Parade. He or she looked quite regal and part of the furniture, a good vantage point for taking in the start of 2014.
