An Afternoon in Hades

Well the " bumpkin" went to "Hades " or as the majority would call it "Ikea". Having travelled to our not so near nearest branch ( should read hole ) and doing battle with the car park, and being herded around the hole in the "one way system", we found the department we wanted! Only to be informed that they could only plan kitchens if we were going to buy in the next 3weeks "as the range is changing" ! Now I may be from the sticks but I am sure the New Range will still be based on the standard carcase ! Needless to say despite trying to reason with them and point out how far we had travelled the customer was wrong! Also needless to say we will never cross the threshold of the hole of Hades again! The only upside was we did manage to collect some mugs and serviettes for the livery yard owner ! they will never get a penny out of us. Back now soothing cuppa, before writing to the Hole of Hades head office!
Don't know quite what these " wings " on the roof of a nearby building do, but liked the form against the sky line.
