After William Eggleston
My first day out and about for ages. I feel annoyed at having missed so many parties over the festive season. However it's like a party on Bankside today.
I decided to pop into Tate Modern and 'do' the 4th floor in reverse. Very surprised to find a room of Eggleston's, but delighted as I haven't seen them in the 'flesh' for a while.
This American photographer was not afraid of colour, particularly flat colour and even more specifically red.
Red is scary because it flattens out really quickly, I think because the pigment is more saturate than blue or yellow.
Anyway, technical issues aside, it was a lovely day, so I decided to play around with it for a bit.
