Father and teenager
A lovely day out to West port beach for a walk and picnic to blow away the cobwebs. We went to photograph the remains of a boat that was uncovered by the recent storms but the sea is already covering it up again. You can see a little of it here.
The sun came out for a while lighting up the spindrift and froth on the waves.
We sat down at the edge of the dunes for some hot chocolate and a sandwich but it proved very difficult as people cannot control their dogs and thought it OK for their dogs to jump all over us. I love dogs and have had dogs all my life until recently. Now I have a daughter with a dog phobia and it is very difficult to get her to come to the beach or other dog walking places. If you have dogs please bear in mind that some people are very frightened of them and shouting "don't worry they wont bite" doesn't help at all.
Anyway rant over so hope you enjoy this shot, I did take a lot today and found it hard to know which one to blip.
