Saving the Day

(This is a back-blip.)

This morning as we were driving toward Morro Bay, we watched a helicopter "towing" what looked like the nose of a space-capsule. Later we were told that they were doing some testing.

Then we stopped at the Good Flea -- a unique "second hand" store. We didn't purchase anything, but it was nice to see the owner again. We purchased our dining room table and five chairs from her just a year ago.

We had lunch at Kitty's Kitchen. Then walked across the street to see Shawn's Restaurant (they have abalone on their menu).

Then we shopped at Achievement House store in downtown Morro Bay. I bought two blouses for me and a book about California for Mr. Fun.

Then we stopped at the 99 cent store and found sunglasses for both of us. I guess we can be called the last of the big spenders.

Then a quick stop Spencer's Market which is on the way to Cayucos.

Well that is nothing more than a list of our day's activities, but it did kind of "save" the day.
