Watching the Ball Drop

We were counting backwards at this point. Jakob became very upset because "I CAN'T COUNT MOMMY. I CAN'T COUNT DADDY. LALA I CAN'T COUNT!" He just meant he couldn't count backwards.

As the start of a new tradition and an old one, we all made our own hats and adorned them with foil. Pretty fun, at least everyone humored me.
