Rock Mountain

This is the view from my brother's back garden. My hope was to capture the landscape of Northern San Diego County, so different from anything in Northern California We walked down into the hidden canyon this morning on the first day of the new year. It is perfect early summer weather. Hard impossible to believe that it is the first day of January. I don't really believe in omens, but I would like to believe that the sunny weather and blue skies are a harbinger of things to come in 2014.

Happy New Year to all of my fellow blippers. It has become clear to me that we are a unique, creative and wonderful community. Lady Findhorn was determined to get me to join the ranks of the obsessed, and I'm very glad that she finally succeeded. You have all become an important part of my life and I wish you health, joy and peace of mind in 2014.
