Fruit cake

Uncle Dave is English. His fabulous English Mum Jenny makes proper fruitcakes every year. I have made it onto the perpetual "Nice" list, and am a grateful recipient of one for the past decade or so.

It is oozing with brandy, is covered in marzipan and the hard sugar layer, and beautifully decorated and packaged. Lucky me!

Thanks, Jenny! My Christmas wouldn't be complete without it. :-)
