Hale Telescope - Palomar Observatory

Had a little trip up Palomar mountain today to see the Hale Telescope... I'm not much of a science boy but it was quite interesting...

Sarah's grandfather came along, he is 85 and is very fit, he seemed to cope with the altitude better than i did, he is off to Peru in March for some hiking trip...

I hope you all had an enjoyable first day of the year... I can honestly say it was the best day i have had all year...
