Wintery Ice Plant

I just moved back to Marin County, CA after far too many years in the land of snow and ice. Since returning, I have been awash in bliss every day at the sight of living things thriving in mid-winter.

I inaugurated 2014 at Point Reyes National Seashore, riding my mountain bike out to the estuary and then walking along the beach. This is a shot of the amazing colors that blanket the dunes along the coast on this first day of the year.
