New Year's Resolution: Blip fewer Bluejays!

I've blipped far too many bluejays, so I think it's a good goal to get out there and find more to shoot...

Wha - wha - what's that in the background? Argh! I blew that resolution already! ;)

I've never followed through on a resolution before... why start now? I guess, if the bluejays are this interested in getting in on a blip... who am I to argue?

I was focused on getting a shot of this lovely red-bellied woodpecker during the brief bit of sunshine we had today. In some shots he seemed to glow a bit in the light. I wanted to go with other shots of him, then, I noticed the blue background and just had to pick this one. Sneaky bluejays...

A new year, a new start and a birthday for me. It always seems like a time full of possibilities. Hopefully we are off to a good start to a good year for everyone!
